Chiz Escudero, who by the way has a slight resemblance with Heart’s ex, Jericho Rosales. (Probably one of the reasons why all eyes are on this couple everywhere they go!) Trivia: Heart and Chiz first appeared publicly as a couple at a civic organization awards night, The Rotary Golden Wheel Awards, where Chiz was given an award for Public Governance. Sarah and Richard
One of Philippine showbiz’s most handsome and popular matinee idols pursues gorgeous newbie talent of GMA7—sure, that one made big news last year, and boy, didn’t Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati turn out to be a beautiful couple. It’s just too bad Sarah is now caught in a breach of contract issue with the network, threatening to cut short her budding showbiz career and also entangling Richard in the issue—he’s also rumored to jump ship and take an offer with another TV station. Let’s hope this controversy that’s cropping up all over the papers doesn’t break up the two.
Bea and Zanjoe
Both have gone through heartbreaks and dis-appointments with fellow showbiz personalities. And both are really good-looking, modelesque talents of ABS-CBN Star Magic that probably had people asking, how come they were left alone and lonely? These common factors between sought-after actress Bea Alonzo and model-turned-actor Zanjoe Marudo could have very well drawn them together, on top of whatever attracted them to each other in the first place and what continues to keep their love alive. No matter what people say, and in the midst of both steadily-growing showbiz careers, these two look hot together, and seem to be having a ball with each other! Erwan and Ann
Surely her life couldn’t get any more perfect, you’d say. She’s had a great TV and film career, and even makes one cinema blockbuster after another. She’s had a concert at the Araneta Coliseum even if she couldn’t sing, has a Double Platinum album and a gazillion brand endorsements. Nope, it doesn’t stop there. She has to have a near-perfect non-showbiz French-Filipino boyfriend by the name of Erwan Heussaf—a well-bred, educated young man whom Anne says to be “very understanding” of her work and is “thoughtful beyond imagination.” He also happens to be the brother of one of Anne’s equally gorgeous showbiz BFFs, Solenn Heussaf. Surely it has to stop there, you say. But nope, she’s now paired with ultimate male celebrity icon of the Philippines Robin Padilla in a new teleserye. And the list goes on, as you know. Go, Anne Curtis.
John Lloyd and Angelica
It’s the celebrity relationship that seems like a breath of fresh air to Pinoy TV viewers, and I’d have to say for the two of them as well, both coming from big break-ups in the past year. Angelica Panganiban’s infamous “Perfect Sunday!” post showing a photo of herself and boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz on Instagram around November of 2012 has sure come a long way. It’s blossomed into happy press interviews of the two talking about romantic dates abroad, more “perfect weekends,” holiday family get-togethers, and a generally more cheerful relationship than both have ever had before. The other side of this is how much maybe 99% of the single Pinay population are green with envy of Angelica…I mean come on, Derek Ramsey, then John Lloyd? She’s got to leave Coco Martin alone for the rest of the girls, okay!
